Delighted with Ireland's draw. We should have a good chance of making the European Championships. !drink!

Another lucky draw for England. With the laziness of Man Utd's so called ''star'' Berbatov England has easy task. M.Petrov and S.Petrov never play good enough for Bulgaria, they're more busy spending the large amounts of money they receive from City and Villa. Switzerland will get the play-off spot with ease.

I feel: sober-feck!
Group B: Russia, Slovakia, REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, FYR Macedonia, Armenia, Andorra

Could'nt have gone much better for us, Russia the worst seeded team from pot 1 and Slovakia the second worst team from pot 2, so all in all fairly confident we have a good shout at winning this group although, FYR Macedonia wo'nt be an easy nut to crack especially at home as we found in the 2000 Euro qualifiers.

Actually Vass I think Wales might surprise the lot of you. I agree Bulgaria rely much to heavily on Berbatov but to say that the two Petrov's are not good enough is daft mate. They are top quality players and you should be proud to have them.

Russia I think are going to go through a bit of a rebuilding phase mate but Slovakia are not as weak as you may think although the World Cup will give a bigger picture of them. I would still expect your boys to be in with a shout of winning it though.

I think you understood me wrong mate. I've tried to say that both of them are lacking motivation to reproduce their Premiership form into the qualification campaign. In Bulgaria there's a debate whether the national team can only rely on 3 players' performances. You may be surprised but most of the Bulgaria players are using the national team only as opportunity for big career in Western Europe. Once they're sold abroad they lose motivation to play for Bulgaria (examples 4-1 loss to Cyprus, 0-0 vs Georgia)

Don't know much about the standard of Georgia but losing 4-1 to Cyprus is shocking. I am surprised to hear that Bulgars do not have pride in wearing the national shirt and are only using it to get transfers to the Premier League, La Liga etc.
I remember the 1994 finals when you reached the semi-final, players like Stoichkov, Letchkov and all the other Ovs. Most of that squad played throughout Europe for teams like Hamburg, Barcelona and various others.

Cyprus are much much stronger than they used to be but still, getting beat 4-1 off them is a disgrace.

As for Georgia, isn't that bald bloke who used to play for Newcastle now their manager? On the same note, I even think Kinkladze might still be playing for them !lol!
