Having beaten Bolton and having ended a terrible run, be great to kick on now and beat City. Be tough without Cana, hopefully with Catt's fit and our confidence back it'll be like the buses having waited for a win and two come together!
When you look at the sides that have taken points off of City coupled with the fact we should have gotten more from the game in Manchester, I think we could win 2-1.

City will send us back to Earth. Draw is the best we can hope for.

Going to be suspended for 2 games, quite a silly booking. Again. Shame, because not a bad game from him.

Think City will push us, and wouldn't surprise me to be brought back down to earth with a footballing lesson that ends in deserved defeat. But I wouldn't mind another of those performances we were becoming famous for earlier in the season against the big boys.

Gordon
Hutton
Turner
Mensah
Ferdinand
Campbell
Cattermole
Zenden
Malbranque
Bent
Jones

Subs: Carson, Da Silva, Kilgallon, Henderson, Richardson, Reid and Noble.

The lads were excellent last night so theres no need to change a winning side, i would only make the one change, which is enforced anyway with Cana having picked up his 10th booking, he will now miss the City and Birmingham home games, i would bring in Zenden, hes looked decent every time ive seen him and hes the only central midfielder of a kind that weve got here, he can put his foot on the ball and pick out a pass and can also help retain possession when needed, granted neither him or Steed probably wont finish the game, but its a chance for the players returning from injury to get a 20 minute run out, for eg. Henderson, Richardson or Reid, one of which would probably start had they been match fit.

Thoughts?

Similar line up to you but think Henderson will go straight back in and we CAN win if we play well, lets hope they dont do the familiar win one lose one :-? oh I forgot that went out the window a while ago as we havent won for ages !lol! !scarf! 2-1 to the lads.

I would ease Henderson back in through a substitutes appearance before i start him. I would play Richo in the centre of midfield and get him to push forward. Otherwise i would stick to the same lineup you mentioned. Would also be good to give Reid a substitute appearance as we slowly start getting players back on the park

I feel: for Newcastle lol
Its at home and they are inconsistent so no, it isn't beyond us but anyone that doesn't fancy a Man City win is kidding themselves.

Despite our tight defence over the last five or six games they'll put a few past us on Sunday because going forward they are mouth watering. I'm expecting somthing similar to when we went to their place actually goals from both teams.

If Richardson does play we need a big performance from him. Steed better continue his good play from Tuesday night and not have it as a one off. If both are selected and play well, we stand a good chance of winning.
